Red Nose Day at DeepClean Hygiene Solutions Ltd was full of all things red as the team got behind this great charity event. As the nation went Comic Relief crazy on Friday 24th March, the serious side to why money is being raised was very clear – to reduce poverty across the globe.
The team at DeepClean wore red, brought in cakes and even wore pyjamas all in aid of Comic Relief, where a donation was made for each activity. The company is no stranger to raising money for charities such as New Hope Children’s Charity, with cakes sales and Gary Hawkesford is currently training for the London Marathon next month.
Sales Manager Gary Hawkesford, explains “We always support Red Nose Day as it is such a massive fundraising effort giving much needing funds to the poorest people in society. All our efforts and the money we raise will go to good causes… I’m really proud of the team!”
Comic Relief first began back in 1985 and since then has helped changed the lives of thousands of individuals and communities throughout the world. Through a variety of fundraising campaigns, the charity aims to drive positive change through the power on entertainment and awareness.
