We work hard to risk assess and plan all our Hospital and Care Home contracts to minimise noise and disruption for your patients and staff. We offer Service Agreements with preferential rates to give you maximum value for money. We also reserve ‘out of hours’ shifts to ensure work is carried out to suit you.
At DeepClean Hygiene Solutions Ltd we understand that hygiene within your Hospital or Care Home kitchen is paramount, and this can seldom be achieved exclusively with in house cleaning regimes. Periodically, a full ‘blitz’ kitchen deep clean is required to help your staff keep on top of these vital standards.
We are proud to have been BESA accredited since 2005 and Safecontractor approved since 2008. More recently, we became fully LPS 2084 accredited. These third party certifications are awarded after comprehensive auditing and vetting that cover core elements of our business including our technical competence, management of Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental responsibilities and the Sustainability of our business. They provide our clients with the assurance that we take these aspects of our business seriously and always conduct our due diligence in these areas. Furthermore, this auditing process is re-visited every year, so you can be sure we strive for continuous improvement of these standards.
Legislation is in place specifically for healthcare premises where ventilation provides a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff. HTM03-01 Legislation states that ventilation systems are to be “maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair”. “Ventilation systems should not contain any material or substance that could support the growth of microorganisms”
It is management’s responsibility to ensure that inspections, cleaning and maintenance activities are carried out safely, to achieve compliance.
In order to comply with the Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations and Building Regulations, it is essential that all ventilation systems must be subject to a minimum of 1 visual inspection annually. The Health Act 2009 “places a duty of care on healthcare providers. Increased health risks to patients will occur if ventilation systems do not achieve and maintain the required standards”
We offer inspecting, testing and cleaning of ventilation systems by our fully trained Technicians to ensure you meet the current legislation at a time most suitable for your site.
Included in the HTM03-01 legislation there must be a full inventory of dampers with adequate access. It is important for all premises to make sure that these are in full working order as stated in BS9999. This requires that all dampers are tested annually as a minimum. We offer a trace and locate service if the location of all dampers are unknown and have fully trained Service Technicians, qualified to inspect and test that these are in full working order.
